“ Went out on a date with my partner last night and we had a great time, our waiter Nettle has made us both feel comfortable and looked after. They also created a very fabulous cocktail that tastes like a green starburst. Having a very personable and magnanimous waiter really topped our experience at a lovely speakeasy. The drinks are beautifully crafted and are also made to suit one’s preferences regardless if on the menu or not. 10/10 recommend this somewhat hidden gem for a nice date night or just celebrating with a group of friends. Downstairs is much quieter for a more casual and intimate experience. ”
“ Still special Can’t comment on the food but didn’t want to chance it giving a low star rating because Still a great bar, doubly so if you get to spring it as a surprise on your crowd Once the fun of the TV shop is done, this place does do excellent cocktails, quicker than most getting them served which is good. Prices seemed more reasonable than my last visit and on a very busy Xmas night out it made a wonderfully peaceful break from the manic bars on steep hill ”

“ Wonderful place tucked away. My only issue was the music set. A touch too loud contrasted to the rest of the atmosphere, and unfortunately Christmas music for the time of the year. I imagine you go at any other time of year it's probably way better. Rated the drinks as the "food" category. They're good drinks, and the staff were wonderful there. Glad I stopped in, and very much would recommend. ”
“ Heard about this secret bar from someone in the The Strait and Narrow. Well worth a visit if you want a unique experience in the style of a speakeasy. No way you would know that this is a bar as it looks like a derelict TV repair shop but in the back is a secret cocktail bar. Staff were friendly, good selection of interesting cocktails to try. Your best to book as its a smallish venue. ”

“ Went for a cocktail masterclass with Davey for my boyfriend's birthday. Amazing experience, Davey was very knowledgeable telling us all about the history of each cocktail. Incredible birthday present and very suitable for people who don't know a lot about cocktail making. Would definitely recommend and was very worth the money. ”
